Aug 13/11 Beaver Creek Ranch and Horse Centre hosted Burning Sun's "horse opera". Spirits of the Trail is an action-packed outdoor drama which tells of the amazing friendship between the great Lakota Sioux Chief Sitting Bull and Major "Bub" Walsh of the North West Mounted Police. The story is set in Canada following Sitting Bull's race across the "Medicine Line" to sanctuary in Canada in 1877 after the defeat of the US 7th Cavalry at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. It is a story of the struggle for human rights against impossible odds and a celebration of the indomitable human spirit.

Team Tracker
A good time was had by all, May 13/11, at a recent
Beaver Creek Ranch and Horse Centre Team Tracker event. The
kids' team rocked! They found all their treasures, lost only 2
armbands, documented their journey on the flip camera and stayed
together. The adults on the other team...didn't do as well.
